The pilot era included a 3.1″ touchscreen with an integrated interface on Android OS.During the pilot era, Pilot OS, a custom interface built on Android OS, is used. It looks like a common smartphone interface running on Android and supports OTA updates. Android OS supports live streaming via cellular, Wi-Fi or Ethernet, and devices are highly versatile. During the pilot era, Google StreetView (GSV) media creation with integrated GPS is also supported.
Along with the 9-axis stabilization GPS sensor, there is also a 9-axis gyroscope for image stabilization during the pilot era.One of the major drawbacks of capturing 100% intra-camera stitch 180/360 images is post-processing requirements.
